Hi All, just arrived and here for two months. Escaped the dreadful weather in Yorkshire. New to the area and hoping for some good advice on nice restaurants to visit locally. We are in Las Chapas which means nothing to me 🤔.
The forum seems to be most helpful to non residents so I'm hopeful.

All local but need car,taxi,bus which are easily available but only miniutes away
Ur lucky...capopino has Alberts restaurant
Portofinos restaurant
Great for breakfasts lunches evening meals
Beautiful harbour setting.
Capopino golf....ocean views from grass terrace
Sinbads is a stones throw...ocean views seafood and many dishes.
Elveria...again local...many bars restaurants...try fluids or masalla indian
Argentinian steakhouse/ Roko bar etc
Further afield 10 mins by transport
La tonys, greenlife san maria beachouse etc...google them

very kind of you to go to the trouble. We're here at Vime de Marbella and have found Portofino and Jorge's bar
We'll check out the others and being golfer's hopefully the courses also.

I have been regularly visiting the Cabopino area for 30 years and cannot recommend highly enough La Despensa on the marina at Cabopino (Next door to Alberts) or for chiringuitos you can't beat Andy's Bar on the beach. Park in the car park (1st right from the roundabout off the A7, just before the gateway to Cabopino) then just walk down the slope. Excellent food, fair prices and very friendly staff.

Thank you for the info very kind. We'll take you up on that recommend. I'm watching the football at Jorge's tonight and will look at the menu. I noticed parking is a challenge.
