New to forum and hopefully at the right place

Hi, I have recently joined your forum but wanted to check that as a current 2nd home owner, but prospective future ex pat, I was able to use this discussion board to request info from the community regarding local matters and tradesmen etc.
If I'm in the wrong place please let me know, and guide me to a more appropriate site
