I'm so sorry to hear this news. Jan and her website helped me a great deal to advertise my yoga classes in Frigiliana. She was so lovely and helpful and certainly helped me in my move here. A very special lady.

I’m so very sorry to hear that Jan has passed on and sending our love to you too, as I know how hard it is losing our very special Mums. We bought a house in Cómpeta last year after just spending a week there! Our decision was led totally by our hearts after Alan my husband had a big operation for cancer. Thankfully, he’s doing well almost three years later and we’ll never regret buying our home in Cómpeta. We were a bit like “Rabbits in the headlights” afterwards though and therefore are so grateful for Jan’s hard work on the forum which gave us so much invaluable information ❤️
Thank you for letting us know and sending big hugs to your lovely Mum Jan and to you and her family and friends too. And also for wanting to carry it on for her and us.

Sandra and Alan xx

Such sad news, I've not long joined the forum but it has been invaluable in helping with the purchase of a home out there and answered many questions we had. Keep up the fantastic work and my regards go to the family at this difficult time x

Many thanks for all of your kind words and donations to the Princess Alice Hospice. My father (Jan's husband) is also so happy to see all the lovely messages.

We have now raised over £600 so far for Princess Alice Hospice, which is a fantastic amount to a great cause. Here is the link to read more:

Jan would be so happy to know the help she has given and the money raised for the hospice.

Thank you again

Alex

We are sorry to hear the sad news. Our deepest condolences.  We are newcomers to a life in Spain and the website set up by Jan was an invaluable and informative source of information on a country you mum obliviously loved. Our thoughts are with you.
