Supermarket deliveries

Hi my sister lives near Alhaurin el grande and I live in England every year I send her a parcel with foodstuffs ,cheese mainly but its a bit hit and miss with postal deliveries the last few years. I thought it might be easier to send it from a local supermarket or Iceland etc but don,t really know how to go about it. I wonder if anyone can help and I Don,t speak Spanish.

There is a Mercadona in Alhaurin el Grande who might deliver for you. no Iceland ,I am afraid.. See information below.

You can no longer send food products like cheese to Spain now we are no longer in the EU, you might find a local Spanish trader who can speak English who would take a payment over the phone. Good luck, perhaps someone on the Forum knows someone.

While there is a mercadona, día, coviran etc in alhaurin, none of them have any sort of 'range' of English goodies.

There is Iceland (technically overseas.es, a reseller of Iceland, tesco and marks products), but they don't deliver and are nothing to do with Iceland UK.

I would suggest something like www.britishcornershop.co.uk (I have no affiliation, just a recommendation, but please check expiry dates) who I believe still deliver to Spain, but the prices will be higher than you are used to in the UK. Amazon also deliver here, if its non-fresh stuff that you are after, biscuits, chocolate etc.
