We live on the Campo near Chavos on the 404 .

The water is supplied by the community we would like to be supplied individually as feel we should be able to do this .

The bills that the community have so far given us our not itemised and seem very high .Please can someone recommend the best way we forward .

You should talk to the president of the community, must be part of the terms you brought the property, with one main supply for all, costs subdivided relative to square metres. To get a direct metered supply I rather suspect will be almost impossible. Good luck.

When you purchased your lawyer what have had to have organised the utilities, unlike UK the supplier has a copy of the deeds with a lean over the property/owner in the event of non-payment. Reason past bills must be cleared, or the new owner takes over the debt. (When you buy a community property in Spain you automatically become a member of the community of owners and must meet your obligations as well as abiding my community rules and regulations) I've not heard of a community supply, but if you have no contract with a utility company and they bill for supply should not be hard to track down. Call the president or your lawyer.

Good luck, but today is 'Andalucía day' one of their 14 public holidays, on top of the other compulsory holidays a minimum of 34 days. 😀    .
