Hello,

We are looking for move to Costa del Sol (choosing now between Alhaurin, Nerja, Mijas, Coin) from November 2023.

As we have a 2yo, we need to be somewhere with a nursery/kindergarten to have qualified childcare. Is anyone able to share any feedback or suggestions on the best areas? We want to avoid Malaga itself, as we would prefer somewhere quiet, yet with enough amenities and facilities around.

Thanks in advance.

Spain is not really a quiet place and many of the best areas are where there are good local communities, which is wonderful for children. They mix well and one if the best places in Europe for kids, they are treasured members of society, all the best facilities are where many Spanish people, who find idea locations where there are the best squares, many of which are in the towns and cities. The country, campo not the same as UK, a whole different vibe. choose locations focsing on the child's future.

Frigiliana is a fabulous place for young        families! Great schools and shops. And a really wonderful and vibrant community. Check it out!

Hi,

As an only child that lived in the countryside, I totally agree with this post.

It took me 30 years to realise living in the countryside is not ideal.

You are away from services, communities, and entertainment.
