Customs Duties - Page 2

I've told people not to send me anything. The postman keeps asking for amounts of money (I paid about 6E for a small box of contact lenses) and I get an e-mail invoice, but it just says taxes, not how they came to that amount. 

Recently the post office wouldn't let me send chocolates, as 'food'  is not allowed.

My mum sent me some socks for Christmas, but they're still in a warehouse in Madrid, as after hours of trying to fill in the forms and send the information, I gave up.

It goes on and on... Brexit really seems to have upset the post office!

Exactly, my mother in law kept sending little things for our son,,worth about about a tenner a time. The postman kept taxing us nearly a tenner for every package!! haha. She wouldn't stop so in the end we just refused the package. Crazy!

My aunt sent a package to my dad, and it took me 28463528472639294737384 tries to get into the website, then it wanted all sorts of forms and uploads and everything. 

It said 'if its not done we will destroy it. 

I got an email saying it was returned. 

If its not something special I would say dont bother sending it. Too much hassle.
