Hi

We are buying a house near Venta Los Chavos with an aim to moving out later this year and wondered what the bus routes into AEG, Mijas Pueblo and Coin were like and also what they are like down to the beach?

Thanks

There’s a new local bus which goes around the suburbs of AEG, the town centre and the Guadalhorce hospital.  The other bus routes go regularly (about one an hour) to Coin, AEG, Alhaurin De la Torre, Málaga and Fuengirola. There’s a bus station in AEG by the guardia civil.

Many thanks Teresa

You can also buy a travel card from the estancos (tabaco shops).  They cost 1:80€ and they work by you putting money on the card ( like a pay as you go mobile).  This gives you discount on bus fares and you just tap the card against the scanner when you get on the bus.  You will get a ticket which shows your bus fare and the remaining balance on your card. 😎
