Are dogs allowed to live in an apartment if you buy one?

Hello.  I had been researching areas initially in East inland Malaga, to retire to. I found a lovely house in Canillas De Albaida, but sadly there was an awful lot of dog barking across the village/valley morning noon and night.

Can anyone tell me what the village of Tolox is like to live in? Is it peaceful ?  I very much like the style of houses in the area for my price range and views are wonderful, but I am worried about it having the same dog issue.

HHi I we have seen a property we've fell in love with in Tolox and of course it's over budget. The agent has come back and said Spanish rarely negotiate so I don't even think they've put our offer to them? Is this the way it is when buying the price is what it is and that's it? Thanks

I’m looking to buy a second home in Tolox. Ideally it will be 3+ bedrooms with a good sized terrace, fairly close to the hub of everything with a bit of work and updating needed. We don’t want a renovation! We’d like to bring our foster children out often, is Tolox a good choice?

My Dad has COPD and I’d like for him to be able to spend quite a few weeks during the winter there, does anyone know if Tolox would be a good winter retreat for him?

Would we need a car?

What’s the municipal pool like?

Hi does Tolox have an outdoor pool? It seems really difficult to find any information on it. We are thinking of buying a property in the village but would love a pool close by. Thanks in advance. 

Hi all,

I am due to arrive into Tolox on the afternoon of 4th July. I have left my car parked in Tolox (where my father has a holiday home) with the plan of returning a few weeks later to pick it up and drive it back to Valencia where we live. However unfortunately due to the Covid-19 situation and being stranded in the U.K., the car will have been sat unused for 5 months. I am predicting that as a result, the battery will now be dead and the car won’t start. I therefore wondered if anyone local may have some jump leads to help me get it started again if this is the case. I’d be more than happy to pay the person for their help!

Golden retriever missing since Wednesday afternoon 7 May Tara is old deaf with dementia she is friendly. She went out from the home with the other dogs which returned without her She has collar with bells on it and name tag, she is also chipped.
