Hello we would like some info on jobs, housing and semi retiring to Spain. We are interested in living in land close to all amenties and transport links. We will need employment on a part time basis (manual, admin work) We are aware of the legal aspects of living and working in Spain however we welcome all support/advice

Kind regards

Hi, "Employment, close to all amenities and transport links". In Villanueva del Trabuco ?? Ha ha ha!!   I notice you seem to expect to find all these things in a little and very Spanish village that is also extremely isolated and is miles and miles away from anywhere- literally!  And unless you are pretty fluent in Spanish, I think you will find the simplest things very difficult, as they will not speak English so far from the coast!  I know some people who tried living there, but they couldnt find any work there, had big problems with the language and there was nothing to do there either in the way of entertainment or social life, so they ended up moving near to and within easy commuting distance of the Costa del Sol where there are many more facilities. There are lots of charming villages within 20 mins or so of the coast that would be a much better bet!

hi - we purchased a holiday home in Trabuco last year. The locals are friendly and I love the fact that you have to try out your Spanish at every opportunity but "why not" has a point 3 buses a day, Monday - Friday into Malaga. Unless you have a car your rather limited. Good Luck with your adventure. Take Care.  Gail
