Hi, can anyone offer me any info on IBI/Basra as in does it get posted to you or how I can access and whats dates it needs to be paid. I have'nt got my property ID in order for me to do this online. Many thanks

Hi, Paper IBI & Garbage demands are posted to the Spanish address around mid August & due mid September (This is for our town, probably similar elsewhere?)
Once you have the demand you have the info to pay online, or you can pay at a bank ATM ( not sure if all ATMs offer this facility, I remember paying at caixa bank’s ATM in our village, before I realised you can do it on line.

I set up direct debits to pay mine, which gets me a 5% discount.
I'm in la cala de mijas, they have a town hall office in la cala and a foreigners department with good English speakers
Paying by DDs IBI is taken in March, Basura in April and car tax in May
