Gas Water Heater Service/Repair

We have a gas water heater that works intermittently, purchased property recently but unsure when it was last serviced. Been advised that my gas supplier (Iberdrola) need to come and look at it but struggling to get any calls back from them to arrange. Any recommendations on english speaking gas registered contractors please? Torrequebrada area.
