Advice please

Hi, I'm new to this forum and new to buying a property in Andalucia. I've previously owned a property further north in Valencia.
I am wondering if anyone, especially ex-pats, can advise me about quality of finish for houses, foundations, legality etc. I have a property in mind in Tolox and this is where I'll be buying, but any advice would be most appreciated so I don't fall into any pitfalls!
Any other advice also very much welcomed about what goes on etc etc...
