Last year at this time there were always street musicians playing on the Balcon. I remember one very talented flamenco guitarist who was there every day and also young lady who played classical violin. This year all we have is the guy with the clarinet and the guy with the electric guitar, neither of whom is particularly good. Why have the talented buskers stopped playing the Balcon?

Thanks Rikki, that sounds logical. I spoke very briefly to the flamenco guitarist yesterday and he said Muy Complicada which kinda ties in with your thoughts. It’s a great shame because these guys were all brilliant.

New Mayor did not renew their licences. Did not want them there. The buskers are not licenced so take their chance. We dud hear that this was to be reviewed for the summer.

Thank you for replying. I hope the Mayor changes his mind, this was a poor decision from him and I am sure that most tourists would agree. Perhaps the Mayor wants to get rid of the tourists as well??????
