Thinking of coming out mid Aug.. but just been to mallorca and it was only about 20% open in our town of puerto pollensa.. anyone can give an update around marbella.. is old town area/ square generally open..or the seafront area...

Hola,
My wife & I were wandering around Marbella today. 75% of cafes and restaurants along the sea front were open as were many of the boutiques.
The majority of shops were open along the main road. We didn't venture into the old town today.
Puerto Banus was also lively and most outlets were open.
