I love BOOKS and wonder if there is a meeting of readers somewhere here on the coast ??

When I was studying in Prague there were book discussion get togethers every weekend in all the english bookshops. A particular book would be posted and discussed. The meets were attended by all ages , many young students from every country imaginable. Does anyone know of any such happenings, if not would it not be a good idea for some bookstore owner to set something up ??
