Residents parking Frigiliana

Hi all, just a question regarding residents parking in Frigiliana. As you know the parking area at the police station is reserved for residents only. We have a house in the old town. We never have used a car or brought one with us on our trips, but this year we intend to do so. Just wondering, do we need to go to the police station to introduce ourselves and provide documentation. Is a sticker or pass required or should we bring a utility bill? Any info appreciated
