Greetings! I am looking to spend up to 1000 euro for a Vespa type scooter in Frig. area. Electric would be ideal, yet most likely not in my current price range. Just for errands. My hips and gluets will appreciate any suggestions!!!

Warm greetings! I arrive in Frigiliana this Friday Oct 20th to view a few rentals and hopefully plant myself there for 6 months or longer.  I am travelling with my Cat who isn't impressed with all the moving about.  We have never been here before.  We are looking for more rentals to view if you have any suggestions.  I would love to offer happy lifestyle immersions in yoga, meditation, natural medicine, painting, hiking, music.

It would be amazing to connect with like hearted people in community and inspiration.

I am hoping to spend from November to the beginning of March in Frigiliana. I have not done this before and am a little anxious about it as I am a retiree, traveling alone (but bringing my little miniature Schnauzer). I would love to know what groups there are in the area to link in with for activities. I love swimming, walking, gardening, cooking, cycling, sailing, scuba diving, snorkeling, needle craft, film nights, and I will give any activity a go. I shall be driving from home (Ireland) to Frigiliana so if anyone has any advice on this score I’d be most grateful for any useful tips. 

I have never been to this area of Spain and have no idea what winters are like there so, again, any advice vis a vis clothes to pack etc., would be gratefully received. As I don’t speak Spanish I will need to attend classes in Spanish and presume there are some available in Frigiliana.  As I am bringing my much beloved pooch with me, could you tell me if there is a vet in the area as my little dog is diabetic! Lastly, are ex-pats permitted to do voluntary work while living there?

We are arriving tomorrow for a week’s stay, we would love to be able to strength train at a near by gym . Would you be able to recommend a gym that would be suitable and welcoming to visitors please ? 

Just wondering if anyone heard about the health of Rafael, the owner of the Mirador restaraunt in Frigiliana. We knew he was unwell but thought he was on the mend. My wife seen something on facebook this morning which suggested he had passed. Does anyone know more?
