Staying in Frigliana

I have been staying in Marbella the last few winters but would like to go to Frigliana/Nerja from October to March.

Can anyone tell me what the area is like and what amenities are there.

I am 64 years old, English, single and would like to meet some friends.

I am retired and intend to drive down in October and rent a Cortijo or Villa for the duration.

I would like to know where to go and things I can do whilst there.

I have some difficulty walking as I am recovering from a serious operation,

Any help and advice would be appreciated.
