Local Taxes

Hi there,

This is my first post on this forum. We currently run a successful small holiday home in SW France. We are reviewing our options regarding our next steps, one of which is to relocate to Spain. One of the issues we have living in France is the high level of taxation we face as property owners, a four bedroom all en-suite house plus Gite which is leaving us rather disillusioned with life in France. Can anyone advise, with out divulging personal details the type of property/land taxes we might face say if we purchased a similar size property. Currently we pay approximately €5.5k per annum.

Has anyone made a similar move from France to Spain and are willingly to share their experiences?
