Hi everyone

This is my first post on here.

I’ve been a homeowner here for several years now and always come during any school holidays including the whole summer.

I wasn’t sure I’d make it this year as flights were cancelled, however they are available again now, so I have rebooked.

I’m Hopeful that I shall be able to come mid July.

can anyone tell me if Il Capitano is open for business as usual, and what the situation is at Eroski for getting in, and availability of products?

Do we need to queue to get into the shops like here in the UK?

Is the English Butcher open?

is Cafe Bar open, and all the other places down the port?

Any info on what’s going on would be much appreciated.

Take care and stay safe.

I don't know whether Il Capitano is open but I should imagine it is, many restaurants have now reopened. I have been to Eroski during the state of alarm, never had to queue. I have only queued once to go into a supermarket, that was on a Saturday morning when they were only allowing a limited number of people into the shop. That has now stopped, but I wouldn't recommend shopping on a Saturday morning anyway. My wife had to queue to go into Primor in Estepona. I didn't see any queues for any other shops. Plenty of products in the shops. The English Butcher has always been open. Most places in the port are open. The childrens' playgrounds are still closed. If your urbanisation has a swimming pool you can't use the sunloungers and there is a limit on the number of people who can use it at the same time. And you must wear a mask in shops and on the street. But largely, we are freer than in the UK.

Many thanks for your reply.

I can’t wait to get back!

Fingers crossed it all goes ok and flights really do take off from Scotland!

Thanks Again
