Nearest cheapest supermarket

What is the nearest supermarket to comares not the one in the actual town, looking to do a decent size shopping before we arrive at our apartment!

Not sure if it's on your route but there's a Mercadona supermarket just off the N340 in Torre del Mar. Mercadonas' are big supermarkets with everything you could need. You may see others on your journey though as Spain is more like the UK now and has many good supermarkets and they are often sign posted on the main roads.
Carrefour, Consum, Supervalu, Lidls, Aldis are some of the other popular ones. Even Iceland is in Spain in some areas now.

We live in Comares and find the little local supermarket Coviran has pretty much everything at a very reasonable price, remember that smaller supermarkets close at 2:00 and reopen around 5:00, for a couple of hours. Alternatively Coviran in Benamorgsoa is great.
