My family will be in Canillas de Aceituno 23 July through 31 July 2023 staying at a friends place in the village - is anyone aware of any interesting events and suck like worthy during this time or recommend restaurants bars entertainment etc

Hi George, If you like goat, there is a well known restaurant in Canillas de Aceituno (renowned for its goat) called La Sociedad which was recommended to us by a local on our last visit. It is on our list to try on our next visit in September. Enjoy!

Hi Andy
Yes the family have suffered a loss as the owners mum passed yesterday and the funeral Eas this evening - you may have seen the procession from the Church earlier
Apologies as our plans went slightly awry today just having a glass of wine at Bar Andaluz bottom of the square then back to freshen up for dinner - few hours at the village pool which is fabulous
No idea where we are eating tonight - hope you guys are enjoying Canillas, hopefully get a beer at some point
Bar Picola may be open tomorrow meantime keep us posted on your movements - your on the bell so to speak
We are going into Torremolinos late tomorrow afternoon for the evening

Hi George, was lovely to meet you and your family in Canillas, what a lovely place.
I just wanted to ask whether your friends Airbnb their flat which you stayed in or just keep it for themselves and family and friends? I’d love to buy a small place there and wondered whether Airbnb might be worth considering.
