Can anyone suggest a reasonably priced & good car hire company either around Benalmadena or Malaga airport?

Have a look at the broker Do You Spain. It will bring up a great choice of available cars to choose from. You can then go and check details on the individual sites.
Although expensive Helle Hollis has excellent customer service and the prices comparable and not too bad.

I always use Malaga car.com . I also have my own yearly insurence from from icar insurence or simular beets paying car hire prices. Cheers Ian.
