I’ve been locked out of Spain and lockdown now in UK. I would love to be able to get back, and could self-isolate at home in Antequera! People have told me about flights from Heathrow to Madrid, but I cannot get to Heathrow as I’m further North and travel is not allowed. This has been a very stressful and worrying time.

Whilst it is understandable that measures have had to be taken, I can’t help but think how the U.K. managed to repatriate British people abroad, I can’t help but wish there had been an opportunity to do the reverse for those of us who live in Spain.

Of course we are grateful that we have managed to survive this pandemic (up until now) I can’t help but think at what cost to our sanity.

Stay safe everyone and I hope to be back soon

Look further down this email and you’ll see an article about people being allowed to go home if they live in Spain full time which it sounds as though you do

I was hoping to come over for a three month rent while viewing , does this now mean if I could get over after finding a rental then I would need to self isolate for two weeks within the property . What about food shopping while in self isolation. .

Hi there.  I am trying to find a long term rental from mid-July, but in my research with agents in Spain, they have told me that travel is going to lift from 14th June into Spain.

Thus might help you go after that.

Debra
