Mofmijasgolf Posted by Mofmijasgolf in Residency in Mijas Golf: padron, residencia and passport advice on Wed Mar 18, 2020 11:54am

Hi,

Reading various articles on the web has caused a bit of confusion . Some articles say that you can only stay in Spain for 90 days on a visitors visa, which I presume we are going to need once we leave at the end of the year, and others say upto just under 6 months. Any idea what the correct information is please?

Can anyone confirm that this is the case I thought we had 90 days to come and go ? Thank you

I am looking for someone to repair the glass in my wood burner and also convert my water heater to an electric one. Can you help? - 0 replies

Jimmy1981 Posted by Jimmy1981 in General property discussion in Mijas Golf on Wed Jan 2, 2019 1:47pm

We recently bought a property in Mijas Golf and as with any property it needs a couple of things doing to it. Our water heater is run off a gas bottle and frankly doesn't get the water above lukewarm. Fine in the summer but freezing in the winter!!! Others we spoke to in the summer have   converted to an electric water heater which I think would suit us better. Does anyone know who could do this for us?

We also have a wood burner which has a crack in the glass so we would also like to get this repaired but are again struggling to find anyone    who can do this.

Mijas Golf - Policy on clubs and bags? - 6 replies

dazboj Posted by dazboj in General Mijas Golf discussion on Sun Dec 25, 2016 11:55am

Hi,

I am organising a stag/golf break for May 2017 and have seen a nice villa next to Mijas Golf that looks ideal.

I have already booked flights and paid to take 3 sets of clubs between 6 of us on the flight, with the intention to put 2 sets of clubs in each bag. So basically we will have a set of clubs each, however we won't have a bag each.

Would this be a problem at Mijas Golf? Do they have a strict club/bag policy?

Also, there are 3 non-golfers coming too, that would actually like to have a game with us (They plan to hit the driving range before hand and have played previously).

€30 for them to hire a set of clubs for 1 round seems a bit steep for them. Would they be allowed to share clubs?

Thanks
