Hi.

I (like I'm sure sure many expats and Spanish Nationals), live with diabetes and have been taking insulin for many years having being        diagnosed over 30 years ago.

Having just moved here from UK, I am tying to find out about any diabetic clinics or specialists (other than going to a regular doctor), that are available, as an example in the UK I had my feet and eyes regularly tested as well as quarterly reviews by a diabetic nurse. 

Is anybody aware if any such facilities exist on Costa del Sol.  I am currently awaiting my S1 and understand that I will be able to receive   similar treatment and prescriptions in Spain, however it is the availability of ancillary treatment I am interested in.

Hello  My wife and I are currently planning our retirement close to Estepona.  As a diabetic in the UK I am fortunate to receive my prescribed medicine (Insulin and associated tablets) without cost.  I am a pensioner and will be applying for my S1 document from NHS however I have not been able to establish if prescriptions are also FOC in Spain.  Any information or links would be appreciated

My wife and I (both retired) are seriously looking at moving to Costa Del Sol, our search will be concentrating on the area Atalaya Isdabe East of Estepona.  We are visiting the area and also taking a holiday for four weeks and fly out this coming Sunday.  We have lined up a few agents and lawyers to visit to get general information and a feel for the type of villas or houses we can purchase with our budget of Euro - 600,000 - 650,000 (this will enable to obtain a Golden Visa), we are not considering new build or apartments. 

We have a number of property searches we have set up and there are a few interested properties, however there appears to be no historic selling prices to give an indication of previous values (As there are in the UK), so it is difficult to gauge the TRUE VALUE of the property, with this in mind, with a healthy budget, I would appreciate if anybody can provide me of an indication on whether sale prices are inflated and that there is a normal practice of offering say 5%, 10% or any other figure below the asking price.  

Any input would be much appreciated.

Back in 2009 I got my nie and with that came automatic residencia too,   green paper , I've now got married and I'm told that I need a new nie and residencia,  can I not just change my name 

We require our fuse box to be upgraded because it trips if more than one appliance is turned on at the same time.We are out for a few days Oct/ Nov and would like it doing then please.

I have recently purchased an apartment in El Paraiso and need to get rid of lots of items that are really too good to just throw out. I would like to support a local charity. Can you please advise where the nearest one is or do you have any ideas what I can do with them. I am also after a good reliable cleaner. I am also wanting to do some building alterations and put in a new kitchen and a new bathroom. Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
