I am looking to buy a cheap run around car to keep in Alora - does anyone have any contacts of dealers or where lok for secondhand cars please

Second hand cars over priced in Spain, I have seen some 3 times the price of those in the UK. Many have very high millage, Spanish hang onto cars much longer, this link will give you an idea of prices. (New much better deal with low finance deals, if resident make sure you have a valid Spanish licence, UK ones not longer valid this month)
