Does anyone have any information about medical insurance in Vélez-Málaga?

I, too, live in Velez Malaga and as far as I know, there are no insurance companies as such in this town. There might be an agent who deals in health insurance for expats (I assume that this is what you are looking for and not holiday cover?), but I do not know of any.

We are insured with Sanitas. They belong to Bupa and specialise in health insurance for expats. So far, we are happy with them. We are in healthplan classic. They have a network of doctors and clinics you can use, I am with Clinicas Rincon in Torre del Mar. There are English (and German) speaking doctors and they have all the specialists under one roof, which is handy.

Thanks for the reply, it was kind of you. I have taken out a plan with Adeslas based in Velez. We took it out for 2 years and get 3 months free each year.
