Importing a car from the uk

I had a great little mini in the UK but all my research on whether I should bring it over or buy here had me convinced it was better to buy here.  Notwithstanding that your wheel is on the wrong side the Guardia Civil are not exactly friendly - don't want to give them any reason at all to pull you over - especially if you don't speak Spanish!  So I sold my mini and bought here.  More expense but I think it was the best decision.  Others might have a different story.  Kerri

I have not purchased a car in Spain yet but I do have a friend who has lived in Murcia for over 10 years . Her advice to me was to purchase in Spain as people she knows who have taken vehicles over from the UK have difficulty getting them serviced being wrong sided drive for Spain , the garages won’t touch them .  Parts are also difficult to get . Hope this helps your decision .
