Hi. I will be moving to Sierra de Yeguas in November this year.

Can anyone recommend a handyman who can help me with work that needs to be done in and around the house and who speaks English.

Also someone who is familiar with installing T.V. and computer network.

Much appreciated.

Jessica

Hi Jessica,

Up until recently we rented a property in Sierra De Yegaus and the lady who showed us around the property who works for an estate agents in the next village, her husband (who is English) did a lot of DIY work on the property.   Her name is Pamela Govier and can be contacted on +34 616 946 741.  As for internet, we went with Teleco who have an office in Campillos in the next village.  The guy who fitted it spoke good English (not in the shop though) but I don't think they were the cheapest option.  I hope you settle in well, a lovely little village but only a handful of ex pats.

Hi Sue,

thank you so much for your reply.  I will definitely get in contact with the Lady.  It's very difficult to find ones way around when being on your own and not speaking the language.  Can't wait to meet some expats once I'm settled in Sierra de Yeguas.

Kindest regards,

Jessica
