Hello to anybody who may read this.

My wife and I have rented an apartment in Nerja for 6 weeks commencing 30th January having visited once before during the summer months and loved the place. Clearly February/March will present a somewhat different experience and we are wondering to what extent we can anticipate restaurants, cafes and bars to be closed at this time. Obviously life goes on all year round and we are hoping the majority of places will still be up and running. On a different subject, would it be daft to assume that swimming in the sea is still possible without freezing to death in the process?

Many thanks for any advice you can give us.

regards

Iain

We came in November and her3 until April. It is much quieter than before Christmas and some bars are closed but as Nerja is still a largely Spanish town it still feels lively and the real tapas bars are still open. As for swimming in the sea - you must be joking or Scandi. Lovely blue skies but not warm. Have fun. Lindy

Hi Lindy, thank you for responding. Good news about the tapas bars and we’ll see about the swimming thing, we Scots are a hardy race too!

Regards

Iain
