Hi, in Nerja at the moment and I wonder whether anyone can help. Out on a walk and we met an English guy who said he was selling books down at the mouth of the river. He sounded a bit mysterious and alluded to being famous once. I was curious as to who he is if anyone can help.

Yes indeed, said that he is there Monday - Friday but goes missing at the weekend. Intended to go down to see him but circumstances conspired against us and came home today. Any thoughts?

Hi there,strangely enough one of my neighbours,in my village in Suffolk,who spends 5 months in Nerja mentioned meeting this guy last time he was there.He said what an interesting guy was & I think he mentioned that he had some type of camp by the beach.He wouldn’t accept any cash &said he was fine with his life.Probably worth further conversations.Cheers

I think he is known locally as Tottenham Geoff and used to sell books from 11 - 2 each day near the mouth of the Rio Chillar.

Correct he just lives from day to day and a cockney accent... Will talk to anyone
