Aware of Schengen Rule 90 days in 180 days period. Is this rule only going to be applied and enforced after 1 Jan 2021
Could i enter a rental agreement for 6 months say from Oct 2020 to Mar 2021
Jan Feb Mar 2021 would be 90 days within Schengen rule the three months Oct Nov Dec 2020 would be ignored or not enforced?
The rule has always been in place but not enforced particularly well up until now, but if you do as you say, you will get fined when you leave Spain. Here's a link to their website

Thanks for your reply, going to be a 90 day visit or once flight restrictions have been lifted and some period of normality has returned at airports arrange a long term rental and start the process of applying for residencia once I get there with the assistance of a gestor.
If I proceed down the residencia application does anyone have any recommendations on English speaking gestor in Nerja?

Does residencies application enable you to stay for 183 days without changing tax country.
What's the cost to apply ?

Go and see Adam at Secure Solutions in Nerja. He is English speaking and will sort out your residencia application. Did ours last year without any hitches.
