interestng article about pcr testing which operates from today at Spanish borders

So again a knee jerk reaction and I wonder whether this policy was really thought out

The cost of the test varies from £ 100/ 250 and the diy test needs to be properly carried out

What happens if you test negative then how long do you self isolate before rebooking test and flight

Surely the pcr will finally kill any air travel business that’s left ?

The old system of thermal checks declaration and the faculty for on site testing seemed to be ok

it really seems that common sense is being thrown out the window

Were considering for 3 of us to travel down in January to see 2 older family members for a birthday and just stay in the villa for the few days there but the costs of a test against the cost of a Ryanair flight for a few days are having us reconsider

Yes particularly if you have the test for the return trip to negate the 14 day quarantine

See new uk gov announcement

On the bright side the test will mean you will less of a risk to your older family it u could be at risk albeit low

basically I believe you get the basics right and in the Uk particularly there are people like farage now renamed anti lockdown which has led people into a non compliance culture and it only takes a few to ruin it for other people.

Always think of the best outcome ie the enjoyment and happiness the occasion will bring but reduce the risk to its minim

Wow 250 pluse flight a baggage will that's ok if you can afford to pay this out each time if it's not a long lasting yearly  if this has to be done both  ways I'm not quite understanding how this all works this truly is affecting any trips to spain and back to uk
