Thanks for the add. We are looking at buying a home in saydo in the next couple of months, we will need a central heating system with gas boiler and radiators fitted.Trying to find out costs and tradesman. Any ideas please Thanks all.

With the current Gas market might not be a great idea. The most efficient way of heating here is 'heat pumps', basically air conditioning that both heats & cools, heat mode you get 3 times the output for the same cost. (Modern inverter units are very cost efficient & take little power) For example, the cost to produce 1000 watts cool will give you 3000 watts of heat. For just water heating Butane gas bottles are still pretty efficient & still popular in Spain, at the moment about 15 Euro capped by the government. However, you will need a huge outside Butane tank to run a central heating system. (Unless you have an underground direct natural gas supply, then you know from the news the price will rocket) Heat pumps are also used to heat pools, many experts here on their use, from single units to large ones that feed either multiple units or house ducking vents. .

I already live in a mobile home with gas central heating and have 4 butane bottles. Did not find it too costly to run. So just need a quote for what I require. Thanks for your answer.

I never said I heat a home on Butane gas, I just mentioned reasonable in Spain for water heating capped by The Spanish government's official maximum price 12.5 kilo butane cylinder set at 15.37 Euro's right now, the same over £30 UK. For heating I use the cheapest method which is air con run in heat mode. (Heat pump)
