Thanks for accepting me, we are looking to move to the area early 2022 from Malta. Retired here in 2007 but looking for a change of scenery, Spain is place we enjoyed over the years so why not.
Was looking at car dealers in region as will need to buy one, which is how we came across this site.

Not hard to find car dealers on line, are you still driving on your UK licence in Malta? To get a Spanish one Brits swap deadline expired Dec 2020. A tourist can drive short stay and residents for 6 months then need a driving test.

Had a Maltese driving licence for years, my UK picture one expired and couldn't renew in uk as not living there. just renewed at 75 plus Malta ID card.
Was thinking of driving to Spain but that meant getting car here then registering in Spain, may as well just fly, save any hassle.
