Can I fly from U.K. to Spain?

Hi my mum is ill and in hospital and I would like to fly over and see her. Does anyone know if this is possible? I have a U.K. passport...

You need to contact the Spanish Embassy and ask them. In theory, there are circumstances where you would be allowed to travel but, in practice it seems to be arbitrary. It's best you ask the people who can make the decisions, like airlines and official agencies.
