New or Used Car?

Used cars not very good value here, I've seen some models 3 times the price of UK. I think less used because Spanish don't have an obsession with 'number plate dating' so keep the cars longer, almost until they drop, like many in the US. Again similar to US used cars can have very high millage, 'you might well find new is much better value'. (In my case love to buy one, but in their great Spanish wisdom, no deal to swap UK drivers licence, if missed December deadline for application. I would need to take new driving test, which I cannot be bothered with. 'Uber is good here'.
