I recently moved, and I used Shipley, as did my daughters when they moved to Paris last year.

Basically, you put your details onto their page, and companies 'bid' for the job. You can see their quotes, and they can see each others, which means you can be sure of a good price. You also stand more chance of finding someone who is doing a job in both directions, or has a small corner in the van that maybe someone needs and yours will fit the bill. This means the price to you will come down, as the job is then shared. All companies have to be registered with Shipley, and their performance is rated by users.

I really liked them, and it was easy to manage the move (well, as easy as moving countries can be haha!).
