APPLYING FOR THE PADRON IN CANCELADA

 It is not a good idea for non-residents to register. Only Spanish residents are obliged to be on the padrón.

This is because the padrón accredits your residency in Spain. If you are not resident in Spain, then any future attempt to become resident may be complicated by the fact that your name appears on a padrón municipal..

My wife and myself are applying for an NLV that is why we must make an appointment first with the Padron office first then produce the Padron Certificate to the police station for our TIE. We are arriving in July. Could you please give us an idea how long it will take for The Cancelada Office to take for them to issue us the Certificate.? 

You would be advised to use an agent to get you NLV but read this link.

Thank you for your help. My question was how long does it take for Cancelada to issue a certificate for the Padron remembering July probably be a busy month. I was hoping that it would take a week. Am I being to hopeful.

With the correct paper work the town hall issues issue on the spot. 

My understanding is if you are applying for a Padron Certificate whilst applying for A NLV it is not issued on the day The certificate is issued on the sane day if you are already on the Padron. That is my understanding.

 You should use a profession firm like Upticks below, It's The Town Hall who creates register of electors living here residence 'Padron', they register where you live and makes you eligible to vote in local elections .
