I have to bring a car back to the UK. All the online help seems to be going the other way! If I'm in Spain, can I just drive to Calais and get on the Boat(obviously will get UK locator form and day2 LFT sorted for entry to the UK) but do I need French forms/tests too?
Anyone just done it?

In the European Union, the “EU Digital Covid Certificate” has been implemented in all Member States so I presume if you carry one no problem if stopped, I don't think checks road borders. My own car went back via Santander and missed out France. Here is a link about France

I drove back last friday/sat with night Hotel stop in Bordeaux. No problems but you need to set up the TousAntiCovid pass on your phone and load the NHS QR code to it to enter hotels and even cafes. Customs people checking vans/lorries on Spanish border and at Calais. Be warned getting on to a boat now takes at least an hour with check in, fr passport, fr customs, uk passport and then UK customs(in UK). I only had 4 cars in the queue, heaven knows what it will be like in busy weeekends.
