My thoughts exactly.

Why didn't you ask this question and more before buying it?

Or try and get out there to view the house at different times of the day/weekend?

I understand the difficulties with travel expectations, but a house is a massive investment.

Thanks for your kind comment, its a funny one how I come to buy this property, I always used to look at Properties in Spain, my late sister in law lived and owned a small Restaurant in Mijas Pueblo and we still have friends there and 

another couple we know who have a small cafe in Fuengirola, property prices there seemed a little out of my Budget.

After watching a Place in the Sun I noticed property was a lot cheaper in the East side of Malaga,To cut a long story short 

The French guy who was selling the property fully decorated for 55,000€ and the estate agent said he is desperate to go back to Paris, I put an offer in of 30,000€ and the guy said he would take 33,000€ at this price and in my Budget and after seeing it online I. thought I would buy it, I have read different things about Velez, but ayy ohh I couldn't give a house up for £28,000 gob

Are you relocating (non-lucrative visa), from England or is it a holiday home?

I'm not of retirement age and am trying to get my head around all the post brexit stuff.

I was looking in Velez-Malaga town, but after reading a few horror stories about constant noise, (barking dogs, etc).

I'm now searching for something on the outskirts of Velez (rural, hamlet type).

Thanks for your kind reply, Just going to use for Holidays for Now, I've got 3 years in November to retire  wifes got 10 years to retire, I've heard and read some good reviews and some bad reviews  think I can put up with Dogs, loud music for a few weeks in the year  Good luck in your search
