Some questions answered below, but not that easy and don't forget right now Brits can only drive on UK licence for 6 months and then need Spanish Test. - 'unless deal done with UK to swap', still being negotiated. I sent mine back to UK as unable to drive.

Fingers crossed a deal done, both for new people moving from UK and all of those like me who cannot drive.

I didn't bring a car but a motorbike. I think the process is the same. It was three years ago (before Brexit was finalised) so may have changed. The main thing is to get a certificate of conformance for the car (which I got from the UK dealer) and then an ITV test (like MoT). Without certificate of conformance, you need a more expensive test. I went to an ITV testing station (in Fuengirola) and the staff were very helpful and explained what I needed to do. The same experience getting the new number plate; an initial visit to confirm what was needed and a follow up to do the process. You get the number plate from a recognised supplier which I did online and the plate was delivered
Sorry but I don't remember any more details.

Hi Billy,
Firstly to convert a British Car will cost you around €1,000 or more.
Secondly, it will be agro for car parking and toll booths.
Thirdly, if you want to sell it, unlikely to be attractive to get a good price.
So, my advice is, don't bother.
Hi Billy
I did this last year the company I used is
Car Registrations Spain
http://www.car-registrations-spain.com
info@car-registrations-spain.com
I hope this helps.
It's not cheap but worked out a lot cheaper than buying the same car in spain. All in all it saved me around 4 to 5 thousand euros.
All the best
