Selling Home:
Looking to sell my dads house by auction
Using the latest auction system - "selling with a respectable reserve"
Apparently, there are 2 standards of auction in Spain
Old Standard:
Stage #1 - Auction with a reserve - no sale
Stage #1 - Guide price is reduced by 25% - still no sale
Stage #1 - No guide price
(this stage clearly encourages prospective bidders to wait to bid from scratch)
New Standard: (preferred)
Auction with a reserve
So, my question is, does anyone know of the auctioneers in Spain that puts "homes under the hammer” so to speak.
