Worried about safety

Hi all
I am moving to the area and I am a bit concerned about safety. Are there lots of break ins And would you Advıse agaınst a ground floor appartment? Thankyou!

Hello, we have just bought in Riviera and have no problems with a ground floor apartment. As long as you lock the outer door and the wrecker doors on the terrace, that should be enough to deter. Also recommend just for extra security finding an unusual place to hide passports and money even if you have a safe, just to reassure yourselves. We have become less worried about it since living their for 3 months.
