Hi myself and partner are looking to come to Nerja staying at Los Arcos Hotel arriving on 21 December 2021.

My question is, will all the restaurants be open around this time, due to the time of year and also the pandemic.

We will only be booking bed and breakfast so need to make sure that at least some of the restaurants and bars will be open.

Your advise and recommendations would be greatly appreciated.  Many thanks

Hi Michael

The lovely thing about Nerja, is that it does not close in the winter.

Clearly, some restaurants will be closed for a winter break, but as it is so near to Christmas that you are coming, I am sure you will not have any problems finding a choice of restaurants.

If you walk straight down from Los Arcos you will find Burriana beach (the largest in Nerja) and there are dozens of restaurants down there. Go West into town from your hotel (only a 15 minute walk) and there are over 100 restaurants in town, so even if some are closed, there will be plenty open.

Lastly the tennis club opposite your hotel La Raqueta, serves good English pub food during the day and evening and a few hundred yards into town there is an excellent Asian restaurant.

So have a lovely time and eat well.

Crispin
