Hi fellow forum members,

With the current water drought are we allowed to swim in our own private swimming pool?

Thanks in advance.

Nothing restricted in using pools, only using drinking/potable water to fill pool.

Malaga is currently under a red level emergency for drought, which limits water consumption to 160 litres per inhabitant per day, reduces water pressure, and bans the use of water for activities such as cleaning cars, watering gardens, and filling private swimming pools.

Thank you for your comment. I am aware that we can't fill private pools but if a pool already has water in it I have been told that there is nothing restricive in using pools, only using drinking/potable water to fill pool. Would you agree? Many thanks again.
