We have these  in our orchard in Benagalbon and are a pest -they are also poisonous (being the same group as nightshade)

so does anyone know how to get rid of these and to anyone who's contemplating this weed -DONT !!

ps we didn't plant them but to try digging them out is atough job due to the tuberous root

Relatives of the nightshade include potatoes , tomatoes , aubergine and so on .

We have this plant in our garden in England , so I can’t really comment on what happens in Spain , but can’t you just pull up the seedlings ?

Lorraine Canavagh at Viveros Florena , below Cómpeta, is am amazing source of plant information .
