Hi Madi,
We've been living in Humilladero for two and a half years now, and are very happy here. It's a small friendly pueblo, about 3,300 people. It has everything we need, small supermarkets, farmacia, various shops, bars/restaurants, health centre, little weekly market, etc. and of course Antequera is easy to reach. The proportion of expats in Humilladero is very small - neighbouring villages (Mollina, Fuente de Piedra, etc) have larger expat communities. I don't know of any crime problems.
Good luck with your house hunting!
Martin
